Two years ago, Newfield Eco-Committee asked all our students to make a pledge to make a positive change towards a more sustainable lifestyle. The pledges were then displayed together as you can see in the photograph above. This year we are encouraging EVERYONE in the school community to make a pledge! Students, parents, governors, staff and those in the wider school community can all contribute.

At Newfield, our Personal Development lessons are focused on the climate and ecological emergency this half term, as Glasgow is hosting the COP26 climate summit next month. We all need to be part of the solution and small actions really do add up to make a big difference.
